I'm curious, wouldn't match options only apply to the 1rst round of bidding? If you wanted to keep your player you would have bid on him in the 1rst round. If you didn't bid in the first round aren't you giving up your right to match and collect a draft pick?

Black and Gold signs all 5 remaining winning bids. I had 2 more open spots from DL placement, so this should leave me at 0 open spots. Not DONE though, as I could make moves for the 3rd place bids if they fall to me.

If you didn't bid in the first round aren't you giving up your right to match and collect a draft pick? This can be discussed for future seasons. I reviewed last year's second round, and there were match options granted by former commish Mike. Therefore, since nothing was changed from last year, I carried the rules over.
We can discuss this further after the season starts.
Well so was the moncada thing but that was changed this season as i tried to select him. What's the difference

Eovaldi was a released player. 2/1 i think is what he was under contract for. All three of my signings were released players. All contracts are correct according to what is posted on the team roster they have been released from.

Also, without looking for the discussion, I believe this was openly discussed, and Mike ok'ed second round match options...maybe on the fly. It is now a moot point, as both match options were passed upon by the parties involved. We can discuss this further after the season starts.

Well so was the moncada thing but that was changed this season as i tried to select him. What's the difference The difference is that the two new players joining the league didn't know that he was eligible to be bid upon prior to receiving your bid. As a compromise to all owners that inquired, and those that lost out on him last season, since Moncada should have been drafted last season at 0/4/1, I mandated a 3-year contract length max, because that's where he'd be now.

All contracts are correct according to what is posted on the team roster they have been released from. Eovaldi is on Here 4 Beer 2016 roster as a released player with a 1/2 contract. Thus he can't be bid on unless the bid is 1/2 or better which it was.
