Ok i don't understand why the players aren't on our rosters. What's they point in keeping them in fa? Just makes it very confusing.
Can i at least pick my minor leaguers up?

Yes - any of your minor leaguers that you pick up are at zero cost to you. The same is true of any players that are on your released list (you are already paying their salaries even though they are not on your active roster.)
As to your first question - that is one of the problems that makes this set-up complicated. One thing being considered for next season is to put all the MiLB players on the active roster. Would require some league rule changes to make that happen.

There's no way to differentiate players that are on our minor league rosters from active players on ESPN. If people were allowed to roster their minor league players, they might tend to insert them into their lineup when they're not allowed to. Also, it would require expanding ESPN rosters, which could lead to player hoarding if rosters are left unchecked for any period of time. Using this website is a way to mediate salaries, along with the active roster, released roster, and minor league roster.

Dean - if we drop the rookie option feature of the rules, then it doesn't matter if the rookie roster is on the ESPN roster. It's not a small issue, but I think the owners and the admins will find it easier if we do that. Will submit it to a league vote before next season. One drawback to what I'm considering: we have to make sure that teams with short minor league rosters don't use the empty slots to add veteran players to the active roster.

So how do i bring minor league players up then. Like Fernandez Jeremy - just add them from FA on ESPN, and post the move on this message board under Baseball Transactions. Just so you know, I already posted your recent moves here so everyone would be aware, and your message board roster is current.

Your last sentence is what I was specifically referring to. Not worth the aggravation. The league has been working fine the way it has gone until now.

I like the idea of adding them to the rosters. I know I'm new but i think it's worth a league vote.
Can always add a penalty for going over like losing a minor league player or a roster spot for 2 weeks or something.
In season fa, can i add them to my minor league roster?

The only players you can add to your minor league roster are those that were drafted previously and dropped by another team. In other words, you can't pick up mnor leaguers who have never been drafted in the league.
