It was just bad timing on the "draft". I had to rush yesterday to select everyone's keepers (most teams hadn't "kept" players...mine included), as the deadline for "keepers" on ESPN was last night at midnight. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to get players off waivers after I entered the "draft results" and started the league for the season last night.

Don't worry about waivers. We don't need them correct until just before the waiver round.

Loyalty rights are the first tie-breaker. Basically, if you had the player the previous season, and plan to bid 10/5 on him, he can be your #15 player, because you're going to automatically get him.

No matter what you bid, you can put all of your loyalty players at the bottom of your bid list and not hurt yourself.

Alternatively, a max bid on a loyalty player can be placed high to become one of the mandatory signings. It can give you more discretion on the other signings so that you're not forced to sign one of your lower picks.

The tie-breaker on bid order doesn't come into play very often - usually only a few times per year.

I know we want to hurry it up but we have 4 days planned. Looking to trade Andrus and/or Didi. Basically salary dump even though they’re cheap, so just looking to pick up a few late round draft picks or maybe an 0/1 prospect someone is thinking about dropping in anticipation for the prospect draft.
